Excellent Overview

As a Stage IV Base of tongue cancer survivor who had a recurrence, I liked this app. I recommend it to new patients for the suggested questions for the doctors

Moderately good

It is slightly disappointing that the section detailing members of the oncology team omits the radiation oncology physicist

Very helpful

I really like this app. Been able to keep track of my questions for the docs and answers are recordable. Love it.

Necessary app

I use this to track my mothers care. I LOVE the email function that allows me to keep my siblings who are not with us at the doctors office updated with pertinent information in real-time. For example, if the doctor prescribes a new medicine, I can enter the information requested and email them from within the app. I can do that with any questions and answers, also. The reason that I have given this app four stars is that it does what it says it does well, but I would love to see an area for future appointments so that I can use the app to email my family this information on the spot.

Great for cancer patients.

Informative and to the point in laymens language. Especially like adding questions section which I use with medicos often.

Look no more

I was diagnosed with testicular cancer three months ago and we have done a lot of research to try to understand and get educated in my condition. This app. Has everything Im looking for in one place and its very easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Excellent!

Just what I was looking for. Helps me keep track of what the doctor says, along with my medications and side effects. And filled with up to date information about my type of cancer and others. Love it!

Good App

I use it mainly to track my meds intake It doesnt have a feature to actually do that but I use the Notes feature on each med list. Just put the date and time(s) meds were taken listed with current date first. The symptom tracker is good to keep up with chemo side effects and Im looking forward to asking the doc questions that I have listed under that feature at our next visit. Better than other med apps I have tried so far!

Great App!

Great app with so many ways to personalize things for your best interest! I am looking forward to learning more about my form of cancer. Im also looking forward to learning about other forms of cancer. Thanks everyone!!

Great app!

I just found out that my mother has cancer. This app helps with all the information provided via a simple interface.

Very useful

I am a premedical student and I use this app while shadowing a physician. Very useful way to familiarize myself with the terminology I hear while shadowing.

Great App

This app is great! I went through cancer once 2 years ago and wished that there was something like this that i could keep everything in line and keep everything outlined easier. Really helps me out! thanks alot!

Great App

Very good application and very trustful.

Helpful

This app is great for both the patient and the caregivers. It supplies information as well as logs, medical information journals, etc. It can be used by the patient and even has an option for locking itself so that you can hold your privacy.

Great tool

Great tool. I would add an appointment tracker. Thanks.

Hard to use

I cant find out how to delete an item ie type of cancer. Other than that it seems to work OK. Can any one help?

Its ok

Great potential, but they didnt carry it through. Many of the links dont work, would be nice if you could pick meds and get side effects, info is very basic

Melanoma

Easy to follow directions and information. Helped me a lot!

broken external functionality

The amount of data built into the app is minuscule, and much of this apps functionality depends on external links to the cancer.net website in Safari. As of the date of this review (Nov 19, 2012), all external links return page does not exist errors. This app is of very little utility until this is fixed, since the external links are where the most detailed and up-to-date information is.

Easy to use with lots of info

Pretty straightforward. To delete a type of cancer just chose to again and it will be "unchecked".
