Pros and cons of Cancer.Net Mobile app for iPhone and iPad

Cancer.Net Mobile app good for

ASCO is an organization of oncologists, and we have reviewed the information on their website. Its one of the best overall cancer websites around, so this app is very welcome.
Very informative tool! Excellent source of helpful knowledge at your finger tips. The symptoms tool is handy though it could use a more detailed pain scale such as a 1-10 rather than the three options of mild, moderate or severe. The medication list section is just that, a list. Would be better if it incorporated a medication scheduler, reminder & tracking history ability. I use this in conjunction with a separate reminder program so I dont use the medication list on this one. Otherwise I find this a very useful tool and definitely recommend it for cancer patients and caretakers!
Researching oral cancer for a family member recently diagnosed. Appreciate the efforts in making this information available in a simple app. Thank you.
Very good app, and really useful for keeping track of everything. It was especially handy for managing all my questions and info during a recent hospital visit. Though Im sure I could use a note taking app for the same thing, this is much easier, has a nice user interface, and its great to be able to manage personal medical info alongside the information and suggestions provided by the ASCO.
Helped and encouraged me in my radiation treatment for cancer. While friends were helpful this gave excellent encouragement and explanations as to what was what. A must read for patients and folks in support.
This app is very helpful Id hope no one would have to use it but if you do its very good information

Some bad moments

This is a terrific resource for cancer patients. Well-organized information that you can trust. The best evidenced based information about cancer treatment.
As a cancer survivor and someone who is at the Doctors office every three months I find this to be a great tool. The information is updated and I love that I can use it to save questions and have easy access to resources.
My doctor actually directed me to the cancer.net website so i could do some at home research. Very pleased to have found this app. Everything is very easy to navigate and very well organized.
Got this app thinking it would give specific info on the type of cancer I had. Might as well search the Internet instead. Also not password protected which I was surprised with. They could have done more with this.
As a Stage IV Base of tongue cancer survivor who had a recurrence, I liked this app. I recommend it to new patients for the suggested questions for the doctors
It is slightly disappointing that the section detailing members of the oncology team omits the radiation oncology physicist
